Minority Mental Health Month

Mental health does not discriminate based on color, race, age, gender, or your identity. Everyone has challenges of mental illness, as I do. Did you know every year that millions of people face the reality of mental health? Like I do! You should always try to seek help. Like I did! Some people feel ashamed about mental illness because they feel like they will be judged in a negative way. Like I do! When I was first diagnosed with cerebral palsy. and growing up with a disability I knew that I had challenges ahead but not to the point of having depression. Having depression is one of the challenges since having my surgery two years ago. The recovery process for the past two years has not been as successful as it should have been. I am learning how to cope with the help of therapy. As I continue to grow with growing pains, I will continue to help spread mental health awareness through my platform. To find out more about me you can go to my website at www.rahwaygirlzpublishing.com to my blog.
